Title:Technology, ageing and wellbeing

The development and ever increasing use of technology in today’s homes and societies has in many ways changed the ways we pursue our activities, and there is a generally positive attitude in society when it comes to the potential of technology to facilitate our daily lives. These hopes are particularly obvious in relation to the ageing population and to people with disabilities or participation restrictions. But what do we know about the match between these users’ needs, abilities and preferences, and the everyday technology and assistive technology that is available? What aspects may influence how these users can use and benefit from technology for sustained lifestyle and wellbeing?.
