Travelling to Stockholm

Stockholm is easily reached by air, train, bus or boat (from the Baltic countries and Finland). The major airport is Arlanda about 50 km north of Stockholm. An alternative airport is Skavsta about 90 km south west of Stockholm for budget airlines like Ryan Air etc. The domestic airport Bromma close to Stockholm City may also have some international connections.

From Stockholm to Saltsjöbaden

Saltsjöbaden is reached by commuter train from the subway station Slussen, downtown Stockholm, in 30 minutes. A timetable for the trains from Slussen can be downloaded here. You can catch a glimps of the train in the Welcome video. The subway station Slussen is reached by any southbound subway train, two stations away from Stockholm Central Station. Please note that the conference venue opens 3.00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19.

Saltsjöbaden is the end station of the commuter train line. Vår Gård is only a short walk from the station (see map).

You can by tickets on the commuter train to Saltsjöbaden or at the SL Center at the Slussen station. General instructions how to buy tickets for the public transportation services (SL) in Stockholm can be found here.
