The conference will be held at Vår Gård in Saltsjöbaden, east of Stockholm, at Baggensfjärden, a bay of the inner Stockholm archipelago. Vår Gård is owned by the Swedish cooperative organisation since many decades and has played a great role for the development of this movement which is one of the national actors that has formed "the Swedish way of living". The conference centre is developed around a mansion originally built by a Swedish business executive at the beginning of the 20th century.

Vår Gård is beautifully located at the sea and is well known, among other things, for its art collection.

Saltsjöbaden was founded at the end of the 19th century by the Swedish banking family Wallenberg as a suburb for wealthy Stockholmers.

Vår Gård is reached by commuter train from downtown Stockholm in 30 minutes.

Some video clips from Vår Gård are included in the welcome video that can be seen here.

A map over the conference rooms is now available here.
